I lived out in Brighton near Boston College about five years ago and I'm remembering the green line trains being the slowest thing ever. I think it was probably due to the fact that the train had a stop pretty much every two seconds.  I remember you could basically yell to the people at the next platform.  The trip to the airport would sometimes be longer than than the flight. Ha!!
