      I love Barbuto for a West Village feel for a smaller group, but Scarpetta was a good standby in Meatpacking (appropriately client friendly) with some private rooms upstairs if you had a dozen of so people. Also Spice Market, since they have a pretty big bar area that folks can mingle for drinks before eating.
