Where can I buy great specialty coffee in Williamsburg Brooklyn? Not just a coffee shop but a place where I can buy dark beans by the pound to take home and brew.

I'm a big fan of ""Gimme Coffee"" which has a Williamsburg location (495 Lorimer)  that sells by the pound.  You buy a bag and you get a free cup of that blend on the spot. Nice!

Also, you should be able to find Stumptown in a few places in Brooklyn.(roasted in Red Hook)

bought a 12 oz can of Brooklyn Roasting Company beans from Gourmet Guild (110 Broadway, South Williamsburg) and refill it regularly with a great selection of their beans for $12. If you're on the Northside, Vittoria (166 Bedford Avenue, Northside, Williamsburg) offers the same service. The best deal in Williamsburg would have to be Verb Cafe (218 Bedford Avenue, Northside, Williamsburg) (same owner as Think Cafe in Manhattan); those basic brown bags come in at $11 but come with a free cup of coffee.

In Williamsburg try stumptown or blue bottle, who roast their own.

In cobble hill try D'Amico's on Court Street.
