I think that's true, for the most part. If you wish to see more people gather around certain areas on the weekends - especially the Imagine Circle, the Boathouse and Bethesda Fountain. Get a map or app and explore the areas that are designated for activities or attractions. The Zoo is always great! However, if you wish seclusion you can also find that. Have fun!
