      People like living in South End Boston a lot. We have some good friends there (a young family). It is attractive, convenient to downtown, the Back Bay, and the T (public transportation). Great houses and tree-lined pleasant streets. The prices for homes are very high. Also, be sure not to confused the South End with South Boston, which is a whole 'nother thing. "

      Living in the South End is quite nice. Lots of nice brownstones, good restaurants, clean. The fringes can be a little dodgy, but it's a very desirable Boston neighborhood. It's a great location too -- you can walk to pretty much anywhere in Boston from there. "
