      there are a couple great spanish tapas places about 10 minutes walking south of Penn Station. The best one is Tia Pol. 205 10th Ave (between 22nd St & 23rd St) Everyone know about this place so it gets crowded. If that's the case go to the second best (also really good) El Quinto Pino 401 W 24th St (between 9th Ave & 10th Ave) and there is also one more there called Txikito 240 9th Ave (between 24th St & 25th St)

      if you looking for a good italian restaurant near Penn Station go to Casa Nonna. 310 W 38 St It's a new place with excellent Southern Style Italian food. it's definitely a step up for all the other Irish bar / restaurants in the area. average $25 for an entre $12 for an appetizer
