      One of the funnest things I did in New York was to take the subway to Brooklyn and walking back to Manhattan across the Brooklyn Bridge. You can get all the info on subways at www.hopstop.com. Dont forget to take your camera as there are great skyline shots of Manhattan to be taken. Nothing quite compares to Times Square. I was totally blown away by the scenes I saw there. Another fun and free thing to do is to take the ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island. Great views of the harbor and Statue of Liberty. If this is your first trip to NY why not take a Greyline Tour on one of their "hop-on, hop-off" bus tours. It will point out a lot of sites and places that you can go back later and explore on your own. NY is a blast, have fun !

      Just go to central park, take a walk and then you can go into Metropolitan Museum for $1. Trust me, there is no cheaper fun in NY. "
