I love the Burren and especially their Monday Night fun runs.

here are some descriptions of the bars in davis square... Redbones: Excellent craft beer selection, great atmosphere for groups (downstairs, not up), great waitstaff and bartenders. The BBQ is also some of the best you can get in the Boston area. Personal favorite and popular with the rest of the locals. Sligo's: The only "dive" bar in Davis and one of the cheapest place to drink in Somerville. Foundry: The kind of bar you'd take your cocktail snob friends to drink things that were popular in the 50's. Probably one of the pricier options, but the food is fantastic. Personally the only place I refuse to go to in Davis is the Joshua Tree. Also The Burren if there's a cover charge. Never pay a cover to get into the burren, it will never be worth it. They do have Magner's on tap though if you're into hard cider.
