Char No 4 has some great BBQ and an amazing bourbon selection.

A place called Saul is probably the best and most fancy of the restaurants in Cobble Hill.  Fine dining white tablecloth American restaurant.

If you're looking for affordable yet still really good for restaurants near Cobble Hill check out Pok Pok Ny near the Waterfront 127 Columbia St (between Kane St & Irving St) Some Thai that is rich and spicy and fishy and just delicious. Authentic northeastern Thai and Vietnamese. Papaya salad, salty hoi thawt (a sort of shredded omelet with mussels and garlic chives. They're famous for their lemongrass infused rotisserie chicken and fish sauced chicken wings. Almost all dishes under $20 too.

Buttermilk Channel and Frankie's 457 are great restaurants although that's more Carrol Gardens. Zeytune is pretty good for middle eastern in Cobble Hill. Sweet Melissa is a good brunch/bakery spot "
