One place I go to quite often for lunch is Flight 151 at 151 8th Avenue between 17th and 18th Streets. Great burgers and fries and everything else they serve. It's also a bar,

The answer to best lunch in manhattan is going to depend largely on what you consider best. Is it the food? The price? The speed at which you get in and out? The experience? For food, I would go with the prix fix at 11 Madison Park (it's pricey otherwise). Taralluci e Vino (15 east 18th street) has decent sandwiches and salads at a pretty reasonable price. Resto (29th st. between park and lexington) is a pretty awesome belgian place and isn't too crowded for lunch. Experience-wise, the Shake Shack in Madison Square is the way to go. For speed, Dos Toros (13th and 4th) is pretty awesome Mexican food. There's barely any sitting, though, so go takeout.

For a very, very high-class lunch, Jean-Georges offers a two-course lunch for $38, with additional courses at $19. This seems pricey, of course--but then keep in mind that this is the same three-star Michelin restaurant where you'd spend upwards of $40 per course at dinner. All things considered, definitely a deal and the best lunch in manhattan! 1 Central Park West in the upper west side. cross street are 60th and 61st Streets.

Two places in Manhattan which have the best lunch experiences are: San Pietro - one of the best Italian restaurants in New York. Food is incredible (and super expensive) and the crowd is very Wall Street. 18 E. 54th St., New York, NY Shake Shack in Madison Square Park, in Flatiron. E 23rd St & Madison Ave
