      Not one of the allston restaurants but Tasca on Comm Ave in Brighton is my favorite.. Spanish Tapas, romantic place too for a cheap date, great sangria. 

      Carlos Cucina on Brighton Ave in Allston, better Italian than the North End and definitely cheaper. 

      Tavern in the Square at Brighton Ave and Harvard... huge place with huge portions huge beer selection huge menu also a cool bar open til 2am unlike most in allston/brighton. 

      Deep Ellum on Cambridge St near the fire station is my favorite place in Boston. Best beer/cocktail list in the area, amazing food all cooked to order (Best Wurst place is house made sausage, amazing) its slightly more expensive, but worth it... but they also sell like $3 pretzels and hotdogs and stuff like that. Place is on the small side though so get there early. If you're in the mood for certain food type lemme know and i can make more recommendations.

      A place called Tasca on Commonwealth Ave is an amazing little Spanish tapas spot. Beautiful authentic atmosphere, affordable, and very tasty.  I think it's technically in Brighton so it's not one of the allston restaurants but it's very close by. "
